sweet vows.

February 14.

My cute valentine is away at winter camp tonight with his 6th graders.

Fortunately we had the chance to celebrate this weekend…at a great matinee showing of  The Vow on Saturday afternoon, with a bucket of buttered popcorn and a cherry pepsi. For a sentimental soul like me, I found the movie quite lovely…check out a bit of their sweet vows…

“I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness, and to have the patience that love demands. To speak when words are needed, and to share the silence when they’re not. To agree to disagree on red velvet cake, and to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home.” -Paige

“I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love.” – Leo

And yes, as I celebrate this love filled holiday, while he is finishing up a “night hike” and a “card tournament” with his amazingly diverse and adorable students, I am here to say that I am blessed to love that sweet boy even more today than when I first fell in love. We are blessed to have found a once in a lifetime love.
